Henry
Daniel
May 23, 1931 — Jul 25, 2024
Henry Daniel of Boca Raton, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on July 25th at age 93. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Judy, mother Tekla, father Carl and brother Jerry. Henry is survived by his partner Ruth, four daughters, Lori (Sue), Erica (Matt), Abbe, Jennifer (Steve), eight grandchildren, Wade (Becky), Keri (Rob), Mikayla, Bayley, Eno, Leo, Skylar, JD, great-grandson Wells, brother Fred (Vivian) and many extended family and friends.
Born in Kirchheim, Germany on May 23, 1931, Heinz Leopold Daniel traveled with his family through Ellis Island to New York City at the age of six. He grew up working on his family chicken farm in Three Bridges, NJ while attending school. He later worked with his father and brothers to establish C. Daniel & Sons Cattle Dealers in Neshanic Station and Flemington, New Jersey, where he continued to farm and build the family business until 2001.
Henry found pleasure over the years in his many hobbies including golf, boating, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. In retirement, he played tennis most days of the week until the age of 89. He loved traveling, particularly going on cruises where his favorite activity was playing blackjack and three card poker.
Henry's greatest joy was time spent with family. He anticipated and enjoyed every visit his daughters and grandchildren made to spend time with him in Boca Raton. He dearly loved and was very proud of each of them.
Henry was a man of strength, discipline, integrity, open-mindedness, generosity, sense of adventure, humor and love. He lived a full life and will be deeply missed by all that knew him, but his memory and love will be cherished forever.
