Three Bridges, NJ--Herbert M. Hendricks, 82, resident of Three Bridges and formerly of Stockton, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2020, surrounded by his loving family and companion.  Death was following a period of declining health.  He was born December 9, 1937.  He was united in marriage to Barbara Snyder Hendricks, who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Allen Hendricks and Donald G. Cairns.

Herbie is survived by four children, Daniel C. Hendricks and his wife Helen, Donna Lynn Stryker, Ron Hendricks and his wife Lena Coberly, and Tina Carver.  Additional survivors include his sister, Grace Hendricks; grandchildren, Danny, Lauren, Allie, Hannah Hendricks, Brian, and Kevin Stryker, Ryan and Jackie Hendricks, and Darrah Carver-Dodgen; and his loving companion, Marge Keen and 20 great grandchildren.

He was a mason, who's hands rarely remained still.  He especially enjoyed his role as grandpa.  He had a love for stock car racing and had a personality that was infectious that made people around him laugh.  He made friends everywhere he went. You could always count on him sharing his love of stock car racing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Celebrate Herbert's life through the memories of him.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Friday, January 31 from 5-8 p.m. and on Saturday, February 1 from 10-11 a.m.   Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1 at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dave Errickson officiating.  The disposition will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made in Herbert's name to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
