Flemington, NJ—Irene Anna Ciesla, 96, entered eternal life on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Rolling Hills Care & Rehabilitation Center in Lebanon, NJ.  Irene was born and raised in New Haven, CT. After marriage to her beloved husband, Joseph, they briefly lived in Virginia while he was in the military, and then moved to Bridgewater, NJ before calling Flemington their home for over fifty years.

Irene loved working in her yard, gardening, traveling and visiting the horse track.  She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ.  Irene retired after many dedicated years of employment as a team leader of assembly in the electronics division at RCA in Bridgewater.

Besides her parents, Irene was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Ciesla, in 2009; and her sister, Diana.

Irene is survived by her loving son; Daniel J. Ciesla and his wife Francie of Murrells Inlet, SC; sister Helen Standish of CT; and grandson, Daniel A. Ciesla of Flemington and his fiancé, Amy.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 12 noon-1 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887.  Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 1 p.m. with Deacon Mike from St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Church in Flemington.
