Whitehouse Station, NJ – James T. Kenny, Jr. 79, entered into eternal life on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington.  Jim was born in Bayonne, NJ, son of the late James T. Kenny, Sr. and Anne (nee Satko) Kenny.  He was raised in Bayonne and Iselin, before settling to Whitehouse Station in 2013.

Jim was a graduate of LaSalle University, earning a bachelor's in arts.  He taught for forty years in the Edison School system at John Adams Middle School.  He loved all animals, especially his horses, and was once co-owner of a bird store, Joe & Mary's Parrot Place.  He loved to fish, garden and golf with both family and friends.  Jim was a member of the Hunterdon Christian Church in Flemington, NJ

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of  56 years, Beth Ann (nee Bjorkman) Kenny with whom he joined hands in marriage on August 26, 1967; his loving children, James T. Kenny, III and his wife Michelle of Youngsville, NC, Colleen Curcio and her husband Jay of Wesley Chapel, FL and Rev., Dr. John Kenny and his wife Susan of Grand Haven, MI; loving brother Michael Kenny; and his adored grandchildren, James T. Kenny IV, Sarah Beth Kenny, Andrew Meade, Cali Curcio, Evan Kenny, Aidan Kenny and Elisabeth Kenny.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Hunterdon Christian Church, 71 Summer Road, Flemington, NJ 08822 on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m.
