Tucson, AZ- James "Jim" Tubertini, 61, entered into eternal life on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at his home in Tucson, AZ with his wife by his side and surrounded by loving wishes from family and friends unable to be present. Born in Vineland, NJ, Jim was the son of the late Amedeo and Emma (Antolini) Tubertini and spent most of his adult life in Bayonne and High Bridge before settling in Flemington in 1997 where he lived for 13 years before movingto Tucson in 2010.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of fourteen years, Roberta Tubertini. Also surviving are three dear children and their families: Jessica, her husband Ed Szybowski and their daughters Gabrielle and Victoria, Matthew Tubertini and his fiancée Elise
LaBricciosa and Dawn Prandi and her son Justin.

Jim faithfully served his country with the United States Navy from 1969-1973 aboard the USS Thomas J Gary and the USS Robert K Huntington and retired from AT&T/ Lucent in 2002. During his time at AT&T/Lucent, he was vice president of the Communication Workers of America, Local 1060 (Murray Hill) where he was actively involved in labor/management relationship issues and productivity initiations. He later advanced to a management role as commercial property manager (Union and Whippany). His post-retirement activities included work at Hunterdon Central High School where he was active in the Red Devils Football Booster club and president for the 2001/2002 football season. Jim's real passion was photography and he could often be seen on the sideline shooting sports for Hunterdon Central and the Flemington Falcons. This avocation transitioned into "Moments In Time", a post-retirement wedding photography business located in Flemington. Jim was an excellent chef and enjoyed creating inspired meals for friends and family. He loved a wide range of music genres and no description of his life would be compete without including his four-footed friends, brittany spaniels "Buddy" and "Ginger".

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Sunday, September 11. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service beginning at 4:00 p.m with the Rev. Charles Hofker officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the local food bank of your choice.
