Jeanne Gay's Obituary
Jeanne Theresa Gay, 63, entered into eternal life on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Somerset Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (Care One) in Bridgewater, NJ. Jeanne was born January 14, 1955 to the late Joseph V. and Noreen (O'Sullivan) Gay, Sr.
She was born and raised in Brooklyn where she was a member of St. Rose of Lima parish for over 40 years. Jeanne graduated from St. Edmund's High School in 1973. In 1998 she settled to Bridgewater New Jersey with her family.
Jeanne was a kind and gentle soul who found great joy in life's simple pleasures such as music, dancing and animated films.
Jeanne is survived by her devoted siblings; Arlene Petrowsky, Bernadette Gay, Judy Gay, Joanne Gay and Joseph V. Gay, Jr. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews; Ryan Lanci, Renee Lanci, Justin & Carla Lanci, William Parker and Youngran Lee Parker, as well as many great nieces and nephews, cousins and all of her extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, April 24 from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, April 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, April 26 from 8:00-9:00a.m.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 26 beginning 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, 500 Rt. 22, Bridgewater, NJ. Committal words and entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
