Raritan Township, NJ- Jennie C. (Kucharski) Owsik, 92, entered into eternal life on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the Hunterdon Care Center. Born in South Bound Brook to her late parents Ignatius and Josephine Kucharski, she had resided in Hillsborough before settling to Raritan Township nine years ago.



Jennie was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and sharing the fruits of her labor with others. She was a former communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Bound Brook and Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Hillsborough. She was presently a communicant of St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Church in Flemington.

Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her beloved husband Felix C. Owsik on May 1, 1990 and by her dear brother Chester Kucharski.

Jennie leaves behind her loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law Patricia M. and Nathan Lefkow of Raritan Township, her two dear sisters Helen Simko formerly of Dunellen and Ann Olson of South Plainfield.

She will be deeply missed by her two adored granddaughters Jacqueline and Rebecca Lefkow of Raritan Township.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 beginning 1:45pm at the Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 followed by a 2:30pm funeral liturgy at St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. Jennie will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bound Brook. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home today, Tuesday June 17, 2008 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Wednesday from 1:00pm until service time.
