Obituary

Jerry R. George Jr., 28, of Whitehouse Station, N.J., passed away May 3, 2008.

Jerry was a 1998 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, where his pursuits included Model UN, Peer Leadership Club, swimming, track, the online literary magazine, the student newspaper, the TV and radio stations, and teaching computer skills to senior citizens. He earned a bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Informatics from Rutgers University in 2002.

Jerry took great interest in technology and pursued this interest in both his personal and professional life. A beloved son, brother and friend, he helped keep those in his life connected.



Jerry worked as a web developer and support technician for several companies, including INO Therapeutics in Clinton, Louis Vuitton in New York and Johnson & Johnson in Skillman. He also built Web sites as a side business he established under the names Clarity I.T. and Sites and Systems.

Jerry is survived by his parents, Jerry and Carolann of Whitehouse Station; his brother, Christopher and his wife Dani of Tempe, Ariz.; his sister, Jenna of Whitehouse Station; his grandmothers, Mildred Servedio of Edison, N.J., and Pauline George of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and uncles and aunts, Joseph and Donna Servedio, Dennis and Judy Reilly, Jeff and Joan George, and Jack and Patti George, and their families.

Services will be conducted by Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, N.J., (908) 782-2121. Visitation will be Wednesday at 2 to 4 p.m. and at 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will begin Thursday, 8 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 390 County Road 523, Whitehouse Station, N.J.
