Manhattan, NY-John R. Blumatte, 68, entered into eternal life on Saturday, May 31, 2008. Born in Staten Island, NY to his late parents Lawrence and Gladys (Curry) Blumatte, he resided in the Manhattan area most of his life.



John had been self-employed having worked in the field of banking for many years.
He was a former parishioner of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Staten Island and while residing in New Jersey he attended Our Lady of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church in Middlesex.



Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his dear brother Lawrence Blumatte.

John leaves behind his loving & supportive children: son Lawrence Blue of Ormond Beach, FL and three daughters: Katherine Dirato of Plainsboro, Laura Zakresky of Readington Township, and Patricia Ingerto of Ormond Beach, FL. He will be deeply missed by his seven cherished grandchildren and his adored great granddaughter.



Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2008 beginning 10:00am at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 followed by an 11:00am funeral liturgy at Immaculate Conception Church of Clinton, 316 Old Allerton Road in Annandale. John will be entombed in the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 9:00am until service time.
