Bridgewater, NJ - John Anthony Ricciardi, 58, entered into eternal life on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Complete Care at Green Knoll in Bridgewater, NJ. Born in New York, NY, son of the late Anthony and Gloria Ricciardi. John was a lifelong resident of Raritan, NJ.
John graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a degree in industrial engineering and worked at National Starch in Bridgewater. He was an ardent sports fan who especially enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and New York Knicks. One of his favorite sports memories was seeing the Yankees play at Yankee Stadium during the 1996 playoffs. John had many hobbies, enjoyed telling a good story, and was always happy to share those stories with his nephews. Despite the many challenges he faced, John loved life, was passionate about treating his fellow man with dignity and respect and always generous with his time.
John is survived by his dear sister and brother, Maria and her husband Robert Scoloveno of Branchburg, NJ and Dominic Ricciardi of Bridgewater, NJ. He will be deeply missed by his cherished aunts, Carmella Saglimbeni, Rose Kolaja and her husband Steven Kolaja; adored nephews, Alexander, Mason, Jason, Garrett, and Colin, and many cousins and friends.
Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887. Memorial contributions may be made in John's name to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 1480 US Highway 9, Suite 301, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
