Obituary

Raritan Township, NJ- Joseph Telep, 85, entered into eternal life on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Clinton Township. Born in Ansonia, Connecticut, son of the late Jacob and Christina (Michta) Telep, he resided in Raritan Township most of his life.

Joseph was honorably discharged as a corporal having faithfully served his country with the United States Army during World War II and the Korean War. He retired from Wilson Products formerly of Neshanic Station where he had been employed as a production worker for many years.

Besides his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his beloved wife Doris May (Seals) Telep on September 30, 1967 and by three sisters: Eva Sampieri, Ann Telep and Helen Jalesko.

Joseph leaves behind to cherish his memory, two siblings, a sister Mildred Wailonis and a brother Michael Telep both of Ansonia, CT and nieces Shirley McPherson and her husband Jim of Flemington and Barbara Hinds and her husband Jim of Ocala, FL.

Relatives and friends were invited to join with Joseph's family for committal words and interment on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington with Rev. Steve Eckert of the South Branch Reformed Church in Hillsborough officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887.
