Loving Mother and Grandmother

Flemington, NJ – Karen Elizabeth (née Soffel) Ramonas, 77, passed peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ with loving family by her side.  Born in Dover, NJ, daughter of the late Warren and Loretta (née Darzen) Soffel, she resided in Colonia, Piscataway, Rahway, Woodbridge, and Whitehouse Station, NJ.

Karen was a graduate of Woodbridge High School with the Class of 1964.  As a homemaker she passionately cared for her family, especially her special needs daughter, Danielle.  Karen's children and grandchildren were the world to her.  Karen was a member of the Rahway and Linden Elks Ladies Auxiliary.  She loved playing bingo, which was her favorite activity.

Besides her parents, Karen was predeceased by her son, Ronald Ramonas.

Karen is survived and will be deeply missed by her two loving daughters, Michele and her husband Justin Adamitis of Readington, NJ and Danielle Ramonas of Clinton, NJ; and two cherished grandchildren, Evan Adamitis and Amelia Adamitis.
