Three Bridges, NJ—Kathleen "Kathy" (Bekus) Ashmore, 60, passed away at her residence in Three Bridges on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she settled to Three Bridges in 1979.

Kathleen worked for Johnson & Johnson for over 40 dedicated years, most recently as a Customer Service Representative in Skillman. She was an avid gardener and particularly took great pride in her flowers. Kathleen loved animals, cooking, collecting recipes, watching the cooking channels and spending time outside with nature. Kathleen was loved by everyone that she came across; family, friends and co-workers alike. Truly, a bad word was never said about her.

Kathleen was predeceased by her dear father, Francis Bekus.

Kathleen leaves behind her devoted husband William "Bill" Ashmore with whom she joined hands in marriage in 1974; loving son Michael J. Ashmore of Three Bridges, NJ; dear mother, Dorothy (Steele) Bekus of Manville and sister Patricia of California. She will be greatly missed by her cat, Leia.

Visitation will be held at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. and on Saturday, September 26 from 12-3 pm. At the family's request, disposition will be private.
