Flemington, NJ- Kathleen M. (Donohue) Bickunas, 76, entered into eternal life on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Capital Health Hospital in Trenton, NJ with family by her side.  Born in New Brunswick, NJ, daughter of the late Joseph and Hilda (Olson) Donohue, Kathleen was raised in Franklin Township and resided most of her adult live in the Hunterdon County area.

She graduated from Bound Brook High School in 1962. Through the years with hard work and determination she broke through many boundaries. She was an independent woman, starting her career with Tri County Law services, she held a NJ real estate license and went on to own Pittstown Builders and was the president of Timberwick Builders.  She was a member of the NJ Builders Political Action Committee and took great pride in being the first women president of the NJ Builders Association in 1983.

She left the building and real estate industry to pursue another lifelong dream as the owner of Friendly Grounds Coffee House in Flemington.  She loved her shop and all her customers until retiring in 2004.  Kathleen also loved gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her siblings; Joseph Donohue, Charles (Donahue), John Donohue, Patricia McManus and Madeline Clark.

Kathleen is survived by her devoted daughters; Coleen Parker and husband Drew, Patty DeBiasio and husband Gregg and Dawn Frycki, all of Flemington.  She will be deeply missed by her pride and joy, grandchildren Ryan Spooner, Lindsey Jaeger and husband Scott, Derek Parker, Brett Parker and wife Kazzi, Tyler Parker, TJ Frycki, Brooke Parker, Alyssa DeBiasio and Emily DeBiasio; great grandchildren Dylan and Quinn as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887, on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 4-8 p.m.  Final disposition will be private due to current covid restrictions.
