Erwinna, PA – Kenneth D. "Peaches" Pear, 57, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 4, 2005 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Plainfield, NJ to his late parents Clarence W. & Anne (Kudrick) Pear, he had lived in North Plainfield before moving to Erwinna 20 years ago.

Ken was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force having faithfully served his country during the Vietnam Era from 1968-1972 having been stationed in Thailand. Ken was presently employed for over 37 years at N.J. Transit Rail Operations located in Raritan, NJ as a Conductor, formerly known as Central Railroad of N.J. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and was very committed to all of his family.

He is predeceased by his loving brothers Clarence Jr. and Robert Pear.

Ken is survived by his loving & devoted wife Elise (Greenberg) Pear whom joined hands in marriage on July 20, 1985, his dear siblings, brothers John of Raritan Township, NJ, William of Pittsburg, PA, Richard of Brick, NJ and his sister Ann Marie Lombardi of Piscataway, NJ. His adored 13 nieces & nephews & 12 great-nieces & nephews will miss him dearly. Ken is loved and will be missed by his mother and father-in-law Marian & Sid Greenberg and by all of his cherished
In-laws.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Sunday, September 11, 2005 from 2pm – 6pm. At the family's request, final disposition will be private. Contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1, N.
