Honolulu Hawaii - Kevin Allan Gaiser, 33, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2008 in Muncie, Indiana. Born on February 6, 1975 in San Francisco, CA he was the loving son to Duke Gaiser of Flemington and Denille Demyan of Bethlehem PA. He moved in 1984 with his family to Clinton Township. He graduated from North Hunterdon High School in 1993. Kevin resided predominantly in Hunterdon County until moving to Honolulu, Hawaii in 2006.
An avid trout and bass fisherman, Kevin could easily be found by the Clinton Falls or anywhere up and down the Raritan River. He was also an extremely gifted artist and although he felt he was just "doodling" his family was always in awe of his talents. Kevin will be remembered for his gentle spirit and quick wit, but mostly for his heart that was as big as the Pacific Ocean he loved so much. Although his tragic passing was too soon, we were blessed to have had him in our lives and he left each one of us with a part of him to guide us through.
In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by his son David Allan of Florida, his loving sister Karen Amicone and brother-in-law Rex Amicone, nieces Nina and Adrianna of Nebraska, his stepmother Cheryl Gaiser, his stepfather Nicholas Demyan, his grandmother Nat Clark, aunt Vanessa Clark, her son Jason and uncle Rick Clark all of Hawaii, his aunt Kim Stratton of California, his grandfather Richard Clark of Nevada and his grandmother Maxine Gaiser of Kansas.
A memorial gathering honoring the life of Kevin will be held at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 with visitation from 6-8pm and the memorial service at 7:00pm. Kevin will be laid to rest at Nuuanu Memorial Park and Cemetery in Honolulu, Hawaii.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kevin's name to: New Jersey Conservation Foundation, Bamboo Brook, 170 Longview Road, Far Hills, NJ 07931 or World Turtle Trust, PO Box 61449, Honolulu, HI 96839.
