Obituary

Woodbridge, NJ – Kevin P. Kerzic, 45, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 19, 2006. Born in Somerville, Kevin was raised in Hillsborough and had also resided in Morganville before settling in Woodbridge.

Kevin was a former business partner with his family owned and operated Thrift Investment Corporation located in Fords, NJ.


Kevin had a passion for the ocean and boating, gardening, was an avid reader and loved animals, especially his and Pattie's cats, Lizzy & Bum.

He had a special place in his heart for his mother, Victoria G. (Reut) Kerzic who entered eternal rest on December 4, 2001.

Kevin leaves behind his beloved & dedicated companion Patricia "Pattie" Lipinski with whom he resided with in Woodbridge, her cherished children Steven & MaryLynn Skarzenski whom viewed Kevin as a father figure in their lives, his dear father Patrick J. Kerzic and his wife Stephanie Germack-Kerzic of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI, his loving brothers and sister-in-law, Duane P. Kerzic of New Brunswick and Bruce P. and Sharon Ann Zalewski-Kerzic of Hillsborough. Kevin will be deeply missed by his two adored nieces Michelle & Jacqueline Kerzic of Hillsborough.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2006 beginning with a 10:00am Funeral Liturgy at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, 100 North Main Street, Marlboro, NJ 07746 followed by the committal words at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum Chapel where Kevin's beloved mother Victoria is entombed. At the family's request disposition will be private. Relatives & friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, September 24, 2006 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887. The family has chosen this special charity – www.afsp.org in order to help those in need, and those wishing to make memorial contributions to this selected charity may make them via the funeral home or donations may be sent to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, 319 Maple Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.
