Kevin W. Szur, age 55, entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 9, 2020,  in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kevin was raised in North Plainfield and attended North Plainfield High School.

He graduated from Middlesex County College with an Associate's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He resided in Phillipsburg, NJ, before moving to Las Vegas in 2017.

Kevin held management positions in the Restaurant, Hospitality and Liquor Wholesale and Retail industries for over 35 years, including 17 years at Warren Distributing, in Flanders, NJ.

Kevin was a very humble man, with a gentle soul.  He loved his friends and was very loyal to them, as they were to him.  He had a life-long love of music, and enjoyed going to concerts and shows with his friends.  He liked professional football games, and his favorite team was the Green Bay Packers.  Go Packers!

Kevin was predeceased by his father, Alex J. Szur.  He is survived by his mother, Joan Szur Drake of Three Bridges, NJ; sister, Kathy Szur of Cave Creek, AZ; sister Susan Drake of Allamuchy, NJ, and brother James Drake of Hood River, OR.

A Mass of Resurrection, officiated by Rev. Thomas J. Serafin, will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020, 9:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ.

Due to executive orders set by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, attendees must come with their own face covering and maintain 6 feet social distancing.

In a private ceremony, Kevin will be laid to rest next to his father, at Resurrection Cemetery, in Piscataway, NJ.

Due to the current restrictions regarding COVID-19, a celebration of Kevin's life will take place at a later date.
