Hillsborough, NJ – Kyle Anthony Layton, 52, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at home. Born in Trenton, NJ, son of Jacqueline E. (nee Cevera) Layton and the late Herbert W. Layton, he lived in Hillsborough briefly, and then resided as a child in Westhampton Beach, Long Island, NY before returning to Hillsborough where he spent much of his life. He spent ten years traveling the West Coast of the United States, in particular Arizona, Utah, and California.

Kyle considered himself an outdoorsman. He enjoyed hiking, kayaking, camping, gardening, raising chickens, and tending to bees. He was most proud of being a father and raising his two precious children, introducing them to the beauty of nature and the outdoors.
Besides his father, Kyle was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his cousin, Brian Cevera.
Besides his caring mother, Jacqueline, Kyle is survived by his loving partner, Elizabeth Jean Levering of Neshanic, NJ; two precious children, Henry Leo Layton and Autumn River Levering both of Hillsborough; dear sister, Jennifer and her husband Michael Scott; and cherished nephew, Clayton Scott. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
