Obituary

Flemington NJ– Lana Maxine ( née Bieber) Bennett, 60, passed peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at home with loving family by her side. Born in Montoursville, PA, daughter of the late George Mack and Maxine Ruth ( née Kimmel) Bieber, she grew up in Indiana, PA. After marriage, she moved to Boulder, CO to support her husband as he completed his degree from Colorado University. Work opportunities throughout the years relocated Lana to Schererville, IN, then Cary, IL, then Aurora, IL then South Windsor, CT, and finally settled to Flemington, NJ in 1996.

Lana was a graduate of the Indiana Area High School in Indiana, PA and Indiana University of Pennsylvania also in Indiana, PA.  Lana was a corporate trainer working as an independent consultant for several different pharmaceutical companies over the past eight years. Previously she was employed by Brother International and Singer. She was a member of the Association of Training and Development (ATD).  Lana's greatest passion in life has been her twin sons. Besides spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed sewing, interior design, and gardening. Most dear to her heart was family time spent together at the Jersey Shore.

Loving memories of Lana will be carried on by her devoted husband of thirty-eight years, Kirk William Bennett with whom she joined hands in marriage on June 14, 1980. She will be deeply missed by her loving twin sons, Joshua Raymond Bennett and his wife Jacquie of Bala Cynwyd, PA and Derick Mack Bennett and his wife Courtney of Warminster, PA; a dear sister, Pamela Colleen Bieber and her husband Neil Hamilton; and two cherished grandchildren, Connor James Bennett and Averie Charlotte Bennett.

Private funeral arrangements are being handled by Countryside Funeral Home in Three Bridges, NJ.  Memorial gifts may be made in Lana's honor to the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822; or phone 908-788-6461.
