Middlesex, NJ— Leon B. Satkunas, 56, entered into eternal life on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.  Born in Mansfield, OH, son of the late Bronius and Eugenija (nee Pleckaitis) Satkunas, as a child he resided in Berwin, PA; Norristown, PA; Lancaster, PA; Winona, MN; and Summitt, NJ. He lived his adult years in and around Bound Brook and Middlesex NJ.

Leon attended Summitt High School in Summitt , NJ Leon was presently working at Flemington Auto Care in Flemington, NJ as a service writer manager/ASE certified technician. He had previously worked at O'Gorman motors. Leon was a man of faith and believer in Our Lord Jesus Christ. He was a member of Faith in Action Church in Manville, NJ and Revival Today ministry of Evangelists Jonathan Shuttlesworth coraopolis, PA.  In his spare time, Leon enjoyed working on cars especially Nissan 280 Z's of whitch he has owned a few in his youth.  He also enjoyed working on/raceing nitro RC cars as a hobby and professionally with his son Tadas Satkunas.

Leon is survived by his loving son, Tadas B. Satkunas of Middlesex; two dear sisters, Kristina Leona Satkunas and Victoria Ann Jinkins; and his caring ex-wife, Traci Satterlee.  He will also be deeply missed by friends/family Scott,Omar,paul, jimmy,jocko,AJ,Pastor Rollins,Minister Marvin/wife Wendy just to name a few. Many more will dearly miss Leon but he will always be rembered for his unusual faith that shined through him and his sense of humor,that would naturally roll off his tongue at seemingly the perfect moment every time.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday, June 23 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Rollins at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887.  A graveside service with committal words officiated by Pastor Rollins and interment will be held on Friday, June 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, 425 Georges Road, North Brunswick, NJ 08902 .  Donations to help his son offset funeral expenses can be made via ( https://gofund.me/e6b3c457 ) or search Leon Satkunas at GoFundMe.com.
