Raritan Township, NJ – Leona K. (Kelly) McLaughlin, 79, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Neptune Rehabilitation Center in Neptune, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, PA to her late parents George and Anna Marie (Langmack) Kelly, she had lived in Ramsey and Portland, ME before settling to Raritan Township 4 years ago.

Leona spent her time as a homemaker caring for her dear family. She was a communicant of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Ramsey.

Leona is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Matthew T. McLaughlin with whom she joined hands in marriage on February 7, 1948, her cherished children; sons, Gregory P. of High Point, NC, Steven T. of Avon by the Sea, NJ, Kelly P. of Las Vegas, NV and Jeffrey M. of Raritan Township and daughters, Sharyn M. Howell of Cape Elizabeth, ME, Jami P. McLaughlin of Lebanon, Lisa M. Hendi of Raritan Township and Christina Lee McGovern of Standish, ME. She will be sadly missed by her dear sisters, Mary Shea of Ramsey, NJ and Dorothy Stevenson of Boseman, MD and by 8 adored grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, April 3, 2006 beginning 11:00am at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Ramsey. Leona will be laid to rest at Mary Rest Cemetery in Mahwah. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, New Jersey 08887 on Sunday, April 2, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
