Lakewood, NJ—Leonard J. Jones, Jr., 68, entered eternal life on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. Born in South Orange, NJ, son of the late Leonard and Mabel (Norman) Jones, he was raised in Colonia and settled in Hillsborough for 30 years before recently moving to Lakewood.

Leonard was a member of Union Local 373 as a Structural Iron Worker for forty five years. He also owned and operated Lindsey Roofing and Siding for many years. Leonard was an avid car buff and loved listening to his "Doo-Wop" music. He enjoyed reading, going to the beach and had a real taste for dining out.

Leonard leaves behind his devoted wife of forty four years, Lynn C. (Anderson) Jones and loving sons Craig Jones and wife Yvonna of Flemington and Darren Jones and wife Melissa of Clinton. He will be deeply missed by his cherished grandchildren, Allie, Tyler, Lilly and Jack.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, February 16 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 17 from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with a funeral service starting at 10:30 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home with Lay Minister Stuart Knorr officiating. Disposition will be private.
