Readington Township – Lorraine (Walker) La Rocca, 64, entered peacefully into eternal life on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at her residence in Three Bridges surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark to her late parents Alexander and Agnes (Madden) Walker, Lorraine had resided in Three Bridges since 1990.

Lorraine worked for Irvington General Hospital and retired from Integrated Health Services as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, reading, horse racing and taking trips to Atlantic City, but her favorite time spent was with her grandson Michael Ryan La Rocca.

Lorraine leaves behind her loving and devoted family; husband Michael LaRocca with whom she joined hands in marriage in 1974, her children; daughter Jill M. La Rocca of Bedminster and son Michael C. La Rocca of Stewartsville and her adored grandson Michael Ryan La Rocca.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Friday, July 26 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, July 27 from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. service time.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, July 27 beginning 10:00 a.m. with clergy officiating from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church. Mausoleum entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery & Mausoleum in Bridgewater.
