Louis Giovanni Juliano, 84, of Branchburg, New Jersey passed into God's embrace on September 9 ^th , 2017. "Lou", the youngest of three surviving children, was born on May 23, 1933 to Lucia and Pietro Juliano in Jersey City, New Jersey. He is predeceased by his wife Ibolya ("Violet") Juliano and is survived by his daughter Serena Juliano also of Branchburg, New Jersey.

Lou was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Jersey City, the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, Long Island, and Fordham Law School in New York. For the majority of his professional career, he practiced law at Bigham, Englar, Jones, and Huston from which he retired in 2000 as a senior partner. He also served his country from 1955 to 1976 in the United States Naval Reserve retiring as a Lieutenant Commander.

A loving and deeply devoted husband and father, Lou was a dedicated brother, loyal friend, and a dear uncle to his brothers' children and their children. Accomplished and admired throughout his life, he was a true renaissance person. In high school, he was a standout center and captain of the varsity football team, class president, and scholarship recipient. He was widely traveled, exceptionally well read, and had numerous pursuits including painting, wine making, and golf to name but a few. In retirement, he authored and published a children's book The Legend of Willow Ghyll donating it to children's hospitals across the country.

He was enduringly proud of and deeply devoted to his Italian heritage, his Jersey City upbringing, and, most especially, his adoring daughter Serena's well-being and happiness.

Lou will be sorely missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Flemington, NJ 08822 on Thursday, September 14th from 6-9 p.m.  A funeral service will also be held on Friday, September 15 from 10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the same location with interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07306.
