Obituary

Lucretia Bongiorno, 81, of Three Bridges passed suddenly at home. Born in Port Matilda, PA in 1933 to the parents of Lawrence & Blanche (Kelly) Moore, she moved to NJ in 1964.

Lucretia worked for Johnson & Johnson in Raritan for 27 years upon retiring in 1993. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband John, who passed in 2005, to many states, Europe and other countries. She liked to bake, garden, and cherished spending time with her family and friends. Lucretia was especially fond of going to the YMCA Pool with her friends 3 days a week since retiring 27 years ago.

Lucretia leaves behind her daughters, Deborah McCarthy and her husband Tom; Judy Beitz and her husband Dan; her son, Robert, who lived at home and son, John of San Clemente, CA. She also leaves behind her 3 grandsons, Adam Beitz of Olympia, WA; Bryan Beitz and his wife Anna of Ringoes, NJ; and Eric Beitz of San Francisco, CA and her great grandson Zackary Beitz of Ringoes, NJ. She also leaves behind her brother, Merrill Moore of Port Matilda, PA and her sister-in-law, Betty Moore also of Port Matilda, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Friday, December 5 from 4-7 p.m.

At the family's request disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Deer Path YMCA, 144 W. Woodschurch Road, Flemington, NJ 08822.
