Three Bridges, NJ – Marc F. Torsilieri, 48, passed away Monday, March 12, 2007 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Morristown, Marc had been a resident of Far Hills before moving to Three Bridges of Readington Township in 1979.


Graduating from Bernards High School and later from Delhi University, Marc went on to become a landscape contractor and owner/operator of the family business; Torsilieri Inc. He was a member of the Amwell Valley Hounds, Reaville Sportsman Association, and was a New York City Master Rigger. Marc safely delivered the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree for over 25 years and was active in many other creative projects at Rockefeller Center.


He was an avid sportsman, enjoyed fox hunting, and had a love for archery and sport shooting.


Marc leaves behind his wife, Susan (Fehrenback) Torsilieri, with whom he wed on February 8, 1984 on St. John USVI, his parents Carl, mayor of Far Hills, and Lois Torsilieri, his children; Samuel Dean Torsilieri, Liza J. Torsilieri and Phoebe Torsilieri all at home, siblings Carla J. D'Agostino of Marin County, CA, Guy Torsilieri of Whitehouse Station and Dean Torsilieri of East Amwell. He also leaves behind his best friend, his horse Buckshot.


A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Hamilton Farm Golf Club, 1040 Pottersville Road, Gladstone, NJ 07934 908-901-4000. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887.
