Marguerite Christine (née Ferrara) Botti, aged 74, passed into eternal life on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Hunterdon Medical Center located in Flemington, New Jersey. She was born and raised in Manhattan Borough, New York, until the age of thirteen, and was the daughter of the late Rocco Silvio and Margaret (née Petrucelli) Ferrara. Afterward, Marguerite resided in Queens, New York, until her marriage, at which point she relocated to Brooklyn, New York. Most recently, she had been living in Flemington since 2017.
Marguerite completed her education at Stella Maris High School in Queens, graduating with the Class of 1969. After over ten years of committed employment, Marguerite retired in 2016 from her position as an underwriting tech at CNA Insurance Company in Manhattan.
Marguerite cherished the moments spent with her family, particularly enjoying the time she spent with her grandchild.
Marguerite is survived and will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 54 years, Michael Francis Botti, Jr.; her loving son, Michael F. Botti, III and his wife Kim of Branchburg, New Jersey; cherished grandson, Michael F. Botti, IV; treasured cousins, Francis Bagley and his wife Jean, Margaret Ann Kulish, Marie and her husband Bill Lynch; Patricia and her husband Anthony D'Avanzo; and dear friends, Carol Ann Castellanos and Marie Zaccheo.
Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, located at 6125 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY 10309 with committal words and interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, 724 US-202, Three Bridges, NJ 08887.
