Toms River- Maria Chernack Vitelli Bryan (nee Vollono), 87, passed away May 17, 2000 at Shore Meadows Nursing Home in Toms River.

Maria was born in Brooklyn, NY to her late parents Phillip and Helen (Johnson) Vollono and had lived in Flemington before moving to the Jersey Shore 29 years ago.

Maria was a homemaker and took great interest in her family, enjoying the time she spent with them.

Besides her parents Maria was predeceased by her husbands; Craig Lee Bryan who died in March of 2005 and Peter Chernack who died in 1979 and by her brother Phillip Vollono.

Maria leaves behind her loving daughters and their husbands; Linda and Ralph Tesauro of Flemington and Carolee and James Bergholt of Brick, her dear brother Frank Vollono of Canton, GA, four adored grandchildren; Phillip, Jack and Jill Sabatino and Jason Tesauro and by her five precious great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Countryside Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 from 10:00am to 11:30am followed by a religious service at 12:15pm at Somerset Hills Memorial Park chapel.
