Roxbury Township, NJ – Maria (Angiuli) Giornalista, 71, entered eternal
life on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at her home in Three Bridges with
her loving family by her side. Born in Rutigliano, Italy, daughter of
the late Biagio and Rosa (Colapietro) Angiuli, she was a lifelong
resident of Roxbury Township before settling to Three Bridges recently.

Maria is a former communicant of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in
Netcong. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, traveling and socializing with
family and friends.

Besides her parents, Maria was predeceased by her husband Giulio
Giornalista.

Maria leaves behind her four loving children, Giovanni and Theresa
Giornalista of Bernardsville, Christina Giornalista of Varese, Italy,
Carmela and Patrick Stevenson of Lake Jackson, TX and Antonio
Giornalista and his significant other Jamie Lombardi both of Three
Bridges. She will be deeply missed by her dear siblings, Antonietta,
Pasqua "Lina", Saverio "Frank", Celestina "Tina", Filomena
"Nuccia", and
Giuseppina "Pina"; three cherished grandchildren, Shane Stevenson,
Julianna Giornalista and Sophia Stevenson; and by many nieces, nephews,
cousins and in-laws.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside
Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Monday,
December 12 from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, December 13 from 2-4 p.m. and
7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, December 14 from
7:45-8:15 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14 beginning 8:15
a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at
St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Red Bank. Maria will be
entombed at Mount Olivet Cemetery's mausoleum. Memorial contributions
may be made in Maria's name to the National Breast Cancer Foundation,
Inc., 2600 Network Blvd, Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034 or to the
Hunterdon Medical center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
