Cumming, GA- Martin McEvoy,78, entered into eternal life on Friday, May 5, 2023 at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Newark, NJ son of Martin and Jean (Conticelli) McEvoy, Martin was raised in Cranford, NJ and retired to Georgia in 2014.

Martin was a graduate of Cranford High School, the University of Tennessee with a degree in business administration and also a graduate of Seton Hall University where he received his MBA. Martin serviced his Country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Sergeant he also received the Army commendation for heroism.

Martin is survived by his loving wife, Marie (Pedone) McEvoy, and will be deeply missed by his children, Ann Marie Rainmondo of Alpharetta, GA, Melissa Tucker of Ringoes, NJ and Michael Martin McEvoy of Cumming, GA. He will also be missed by his five cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his dear sisters; Patricia Spencer and Elizabeth Creaturo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 3-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral liturgy.  Committal words and interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery and Mausoleum, 53 Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ 07067.
