Neshanic Station, NJ – Mary Kay (Basic) Clancy, 41, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 8, 2006, at her home in the Neshanic Station section of Hillsborough. Born in Jersey City, to her parents Steve G. and Joan (Zaninovich) Basic of Oradell, NJ, she was raised in Oradell and then settled to Neshanic Station. Mary Kay was the Executive Director of the non profit organization I.R.U. of Branchburg for 9 years.

Besides her parents Mary Kay is survived by her devoted husband Michael Clancy Jr. with whom she joined hands in marriage 9 years ago, her daughter Mikayla Rose Clancy, her dear sister Anne Marie Basic of New York City, NY, and brother Stephen A. Basic of Oradell, NJ. She will also be missed by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael J. and Susan (Mongelli) Clancy Sr., brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday beginning 9:15am at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Liturgy at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Three Bridges, NJ. Cremation will follow at Somerset Hills Crematory, Basking Ridge, NJ. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm and on Thursday from 8:45am until service time.
