Neshanic Station, NJ—Mary (Miele) Petruzzi, 92, entered eternal life on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, NJ.  Born in Summit, NJ, daughter of the late Anthony and Madalena (Musina) Miele, she resided in Summit, Piscataway, NJ, and South Plainfield, NJ before settling to Neshanic Station in 1979.

Mary retired after thirty two years as a banquet coordinator from Sorianos' Restaurant in Bridgewater, NJ.  Mary was known by her family members as being friendly, outgoing and an energetic bundle of fun.  Her family fondly remember her as a classy, well dressed, and welcoming conversationalist.  Mary most enjoyed cooking and spending time with her large boisterous family, especially her great grandchildren.  She was a faithful parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ.

Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband Salvatore J. Petruzzi on May 5, 1993, a son, Daniel Petruzzi; and her siblings, Pete Miele, Frank Miele, and Anthony Miele, Jr.

Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Julia Petruzzi of Bedminster, NJ and Ann Marie Russo of Middlesex, NJ; a dear brother Joe Miele of Italy and a dear sister Madeline Miele of Florida; five cherished grandchildren; and two adored great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Monday, March 6 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 7 from 9:30-10 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home.  The interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.
