Schulock, Matthew Michael, age 29, of Branchburg, NJ went to heaven April 14, 2020.

Born on September 15, 1990 in Somerville, NJ, Matthew grew up in Branchburg, NJ and maintained Branchburg as his permanent address his entire life. Matthew was his father's "shadow" in his pre-school years; he completed his elementary education in the Branchburg township school system. Matthew was also a (to-be-future-first-student) member of the ceremonial ground-breaking crew for the Whiton Elementary School (where he came ready to dig the entire foundation). Matthew graduated from Somerville High School; he was captain of their New Jersey Consumer Bowl state champion's team.

Matthew loved this country as well as its outdoors and nature; he was an avid fisherman and his favorite boyhood fishing spots were on the nearby South Branch of the Raritan River. Correspondingly, Matthew was very active in Boy Scouting; he achieved the (second-highest) rank of Life Scout; he participated in numerous camping events as well as high adventure trips – including, Florida, Alaska, Hawaii, and Philmont (Cimarron, New Mexico).

Matthew had many interests and accumulated detailed associated knowledge. He was especially interested in and incredibly knowledgeable of geography and history.

Matthew was a dependable and hard-working individual; he was especially proud of his calloused hands. He worked in various trades – including, lumberjacking, security installations and associated electrical work as well as dry-wall. (Matthew also loved his work boots which reflected his hard work in their wear and tear.)

Matthew loved all of his family members and was especially close to (now deceased) matriarchal members from both his Mother's side and his Father's side.

Matthew has joined them in heaven...and they are now together again.

Those left to cherish memories of Matthew include: his ever-loving parents Michael L. and Irma M. Schulock of Branchburg, NJ; his older sister Christina (Schulock) Schwartz and her family - husband Steve and sons (nephews) Henry and Declan of Readington Township, NJ; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins (and those cousins' children) as well as family and personal friends.
