Flemington, NJ—Michael A. Myirski, 60, entered eternal life on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Allentown, PA, son of the late Andrew and Susanna (Virus) Myirski, he resided in Flemington most of his life.


Michael is a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from Lehigh University. Michael was employed for over thirty years as a civil engineer, presently at URS Energy and Construction in Princeton. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges. Michael was an avid golfer, Philadelphia sports fan, enjoyed landscaping, and being outdoors especially near the ocean.


Michael leaves behind his loving wife Susan D. Myirski (neé Bornstein); dear daughter Susanna and son-in-law George Fultz II. He will be deeply missed by many cousins, extended family and friends.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Flemington, NJ 08822 on Sunday, August 14 from 2-5 p.m. and on Monday, August 15 from 10-11 a.m.


Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home with Fr. Tom Serafin officiating. Committal words will follow at Neshanic Cemetery in Hillsborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's memory to the American Cancer Society or World Wildlife Fund.
