Edison, NJ- Murray Kadish, 77, died on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Born in New York City, NY, he resided in Rochester, NY and Baltimore, MD before settling in New Jersey in 1962.

Murray faithfully served his country as a sergeant with the United States Air Force, and also was a pitcher on the Air Force baseball team. After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology in just three years with a Bachelors of Science degree, Murray worked for International Paper Company in sales and as a sales manager in New York for thirty years. He also served on the board, and as President, of the Victoria Park Homeowner's Association for several years before recently stepping down.



Murray was predeceased by his parents; Irving and Gertrude (Fine) Kadish.

Murray leaves behind four loving children: David and his wife Gina Kadish of South Orange, NJ; Jonathan and his wife Suzanne Kadish of Flemington, NJ; Maureen and her husband Anthony Sherbondy of Raleigh, NC and Bruce and his wife Michelle Kadish of Harrisburg, PA. He will be deeply missed by his eight cherished grandchildren: Matthew, Jordan, Nicholas, Danielle and Sophia Kadish and Jacob, Ethan and Zachary Sherbondy; and dear sister Evelyn and her husband Robert Rosen, and nephew Michael Rosen.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 with Rabbi Evan Jaffe officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at the funeral home on Monday, March 1, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Flemington Jewish Community Center Cemetery in Flemington.
