Flemington, NJ—Olga M. (nee Cruz) Kallok, 77, entered into eternal life on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Independence Manor Hunterdon in Flemington with loving family by her side. Born in Santiago, Cuba, daughter of the late Carlos and Olga (nee Fernandez) Cruz, she lived in Cuba until the age of 14 when she immigrated to the United States of America and resided in Elizabeth, NJ. After marriage in 1971 Olga moved to Roselle Park, NJ, and lived there until settling in Flemington in 1991.

Olga was a graduate of William H. Taft High School's Class of 1965, located in the Bronx, NY. She retired in 2007 after over 33 years of dedicated employment with Merck Pharmaceuticals in Whitehouse, NJ as an executive secretary. Olga was a very talented painter working with many different mediums. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and various arts and crafts. She delighted in spending time with her family. Olga was a devout Christian and the Baptist church was a part of her life from her childhood days. She taught Sunday School for many years to the church youth group and singing soprano in the church choir was one of her joys.

Olga is survived and will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 53 years, Richard Kallok, whom she wed on October 30, 1971; a dear sister, Alicia Cruz of Sussex, NJ; dear brother-in-law, Robert Kallok; three cherished nephews, Robert Kallok (Marion), Kenneth Kallok (Cathy), and Brian Kallok (Vicky); and great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Tuesday, November 19, from 1-4 p.m. and on Wednesday, November 20, from 10-11 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887.  Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Jeanette Hile. Committal words and burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ.
