The DeChirico family announces the death of Patrick C. DeChirico, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who passed away peacefully at age 82, in Williamsburg, Virginia on July 21, 2019.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna, two sons, Ron (Rhonda), Kevin (Dawn) and daughters, Kathleen (Brian Richardson), Christine (Andy Meyer) and 11 loved grandchildren. Also surviving, his sister, Phyllis Tomaro, and brother, Daniel DeChirico. Patrick was pre-deceased by his first wife, Susan, whom he married in 1963, a union that celebrated 50 years together.
Patrick enlisted in the Marine Corps upon High School graduation, retiring 43 years later as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 in 1997.
While raising his family in Branchburg and later Stockton, he attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, while working for Bell Labs and AT&T.
After retiring from AT&T and the Marine Corps, Patrick was very active in the Flemington VFW, the Marine Corps League and the N.J. Chapter of Operation Shoebox. As Commandant of the Marine Corps League, he was honored to be part of the Eagle Scouts Court of Honor Ceremonies. He also helped with the N.J. Toys for Tots organization. He was also proud of his desire to help the local community.

A memorial service will take place on August 3, 2019 from 9-11 am at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, PO Box 431, Three Bridges, NJ 08887. Services honoring Patrick will start at 10:00 a.m
