Flemington NJ– Patrick J. Kennedy, Jr., 55, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at home with his loving family at his side.  Patrick was born in Summit, NJ to Maryann (Minogue) Kennedy and the late Patrick Kennedy, Sr.

Pat attended Seton Hall Prep for 4 years, graduated from Seton Hall University with a BA in marketing in 1985 and an MPA in 1990. During his time at Seton Hall he met the love of his life, Lori, whom he married after graduation in 1988. He graduated from paramedic school in 1986, working at Union Hospital, UMDNJ University Hospital in Newark, Flight Medic with Northstar, Rutgers EMS, St. Barnabas Medical Center, Atlantic Healthcare and Hunterdon Medical Center.  He was a diver and played rugby while at Seton Hall, has been a Volunteer Firefighter with the Three Bridges Fire Dept. for over twenty years and was a member of the Westfield First Aid and Rescue while in college.  Pat had many passions which he "imposed" on his family, particularly his love of golf and skiing.  He loved the beach, eating out, traveling, the New Jersey Devils, Notre Dame Football, and Seton Hall Basketball.  His culinary skills were put to use at many volunteer functions as well as at home, pleasing the family with many delightful dishes and memorable family meals.

Pat is survived by his devoted wife Lori; five cherished children, daughters Kacie and Tara and sons Packy, Ryan and Sean; beloved mother Maryann Kennedy; dear siblings, brothers John and Brendan and sister Kathleen.  He will be deeply missed by his 3 nieces, 5 nephews, and many cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Saturday, November 4 from 3 - 7 p.m.

An 11:00 a.m. funeral liturgy will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ on Monday, November 6, followed by committal words at St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Cemetery in Flemington, NJ.
