Hillsborough, NJ- Peggy Ann (Parsons) Marcine, 49, entered eternal life on Friday, November 5, 2010 at Green Knoll Care & Rehabilitation Center in Bridgewater. Born in Somerville, daughter of Patricia (Egan) Parsons and the late Ronald Parsons, she was a lifelong resident of Hillsborough.

Peggy was a graduate of Hillsborough High School Class of 1979 where she was an All State softball player, a member of the marching & concert bands playing the flute and piccolo. In her youth, Peggy was very active with the 4-H program of Somerset County contributing to the horse and rabbit clubs. She was an artistic person and had a passion for playing softball. She also attended Raritan Valley Community College. Peggy had been a bartender at the Neshanic Inn in Neshanic Station.



Besides her loving mother, Peggy leaves behind her beloved husband Robert "Bob" C. Marcine; cherished daughters: Patricia Marcine formerly of Hillsborough and Danielle Marcine of Hillsborough and her dear brother Ronald Parsons, Jr. of Hillsborough.



Relatives and friends are invited to join with Peggy's family for a memorial service on Saturday, November 13th beginning 11:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of God Roman Catholic Church, 157 South Triangle Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844. Committal words and burial will follow at Neshanic Cemetery in Hillsborough. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887.
