Margaret M. "Peggy" (née Thompson) Pellegrino, age 78, entered eternal life on Friday, May 15, 2026 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, with loving family present. Born in Newark, New Jersey, she is the daughter of the late Edgar F. and Theresa (née Geary) Thompson. At the age of three, Peggy moved to Iselin, New Jersey, and has also lived in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, Lebanon, New Jersey, and Easton, Pennsylvania.

Peggy completed her High School education at JFK High School located in Iselin and subsequently pursued her studies at Middlesex County College in Edison, New Jersey, where she earned her associate's degree. She dedicated over 45 years of her career to IBM Corporation in Armonk, New York, serving as an events planner until her retirement. During her leisure time, Peggy was an avid fan of game shows and cherished the moments spent at her beloved home in Lake George, New York.

Peggy is survived by her loving son, Michael E. Pellegrino and his wife Ashley; dear siblings, Richard Thompson and his wife Hayat, Kathleen Urban and her husband Walter, and Mary Murphy; and cherished nieces and nephews, Paul Urban (deceased), Christopher Urban, Scott Barner, Christyn Barner, Mona Grubb, and May Ambrogi.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, located at 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. The viewing will take place at Countryside Funeral Home, located at 724 US-202, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, May 19 from 3-7 p.m. The disposition will be private.
