Neshanic Station, NJ- Ricardo R. Scarpellini, 51, entered into eternal life on Monday, June 30, 2008 at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark. Ricardo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to his late parents. He resided in Cliffside Park and Elizabeth prior to settling in Branchburg five years ago.

Ricardo leaves behind his beloved wife of 24 years; Martha (Ribadeneira) Scarpellini, his loving children; daughter Monica Reyes of Caldwell, NJ and son Brian Scarpellini of Branchburg. Ricardo was devoted to his family and his love and dedication will forever be a part of the lives that he enriched.

Ricardo was the President and owner of Bayres Construction Company for the past 17 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching televised soccer games on Sunday.

Ricardo is predeceased by his brother Ramon Scarpellini and his sister Clelia. He will be missed by his sisters; Yolanda, Norma and Beatrice.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2008 beginning 10:30am at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 followed by an 11:00am funeral liturgy at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at the funeral home on Friday, July 4, 2008 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm and on Saturday from 10:00am until service time.
