Readington Township, NJ- Richard Francis Larios, 82, entered eternal life on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township. Born and raised in New York, NY, son of the late Manuel and Emma (Lopez) Larios, he resided in Hunterdon County most of his life.
Richard attended City College of New York receiving a bachelor's degree. He faithfully served his country with the United States Navy as an AT 2 during the Korean War. After retirement from Metal Litho in New York, where he worked for twenty years and served as president, he was a radio announcer with WBRW 1170, a manager with Maurice Deuchin and a realtor with Carriage House Realty, Fischer Realty and Weidel Realty. He also recently celebrated his 25th anniversary with the Flemington Elks .
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two dear brothers, Charles A. and Anthony M. Larios.
Richard leaves behind his beloved wife Therese M. (Marcotte) Larios with whom he joined hands in marriage on June 1, 1957; loving daughter and son-in-law, Lana and Phil Nicholson of Branchburg; son and daughter-in-law, Paul Richard and Andrea P. Larios of Frenchtown and dear sister and brother-in-law, Joy (Larios)and Robert Perkins of North Carolina. He will be deeply missed by his adored granddaughter Ciara Nicholson; step-grandson Joseph Krajack and by many cherished nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Tuesday, April 5 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 6 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 6 beginning at 11:00 a.m with a deacon from St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church in Bridgewater officiating.
