Flemington, NJ – Robert Gerard LaCasse, 67, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his home. Born in St. Albans, NY, to the late Robert A. and Wilmyra (Cody) LaCasse, he was raised in Scotch Plains, NJ before settling to Flemington in 1997.

Robert was a graduate of Kings College in PA where he earned his BS in Chemistry. He retired from SDC (formerly Film Specialties, Inc.) of Hillsborough as a Polymer Chemist. He enjoyed reading science fiction novels and listening to classical music. After retirement, he took up gardening and loved watching turtles and other reptiles near his home. Robert also enjoyed the beach and was an avid Star Trek fan.

Robert is survived by his devoted and loving wife Sera LaCasse; dear sister Janet Sella and her husband Jerry; brother Laurence LaCasse and his wife Patricia; stepson Joseph Ahlff and his fiancée Tina Allatines; stepdaughter Katherine Ahlff and her significant other Jeff Myhre, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Thursday, May 31 from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday, June 1 from 9-10 a.m.
