Obituary

Mr. Rocco Cimino, of Rartian, NJ passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on Friday, February 11. He had been healthy and living at home until mid-December, when he began to encounter a number of medical aliments.

Rocco was a welder and steamfitter and traveled widely during his lifetime. He served our country in World War II in Japan and the Philippines. He was an avid ballroom dancer and skier. He also enjoyed motorcycles, horses and canoeing. He was a member of Mensa, Steamfitters Local Union #475, the American Motorcycle Association, Princeton Ski Club, the Over-70-Ski Club and a variety of other organizations.

Mr. Cimino is survived by ex-wife and lifelong friend, Gayle Cimino; son Charles of Hope, NJ with his wife Loida and children Tage, Charlida and Avegail; daughter Margaret Brancheau of Milford, NJ with her husband Lee and children Benjamin and Melanie; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He is the last survivor of his many siblings and in-laws.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Friday, February 18 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 18 beginning 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Rocco's memory to Manville VFW Post #2290, 600 Washington Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835 or to another charity of your choice in order to help our veterans.
