Flemington, NJ - Rose (Barbieri) Suhr, 89, entered into eternal life on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at home with loving family by her side.  Born in Flemington, daughter of the late Joseph and Ermelinda (Tedeschi) Barbieri, she was a lifelong resident of Flemington.

Rose was a graduate of Flemington High School and very talented playing the violin while tap dancing.  She was on television and won many talent contests.  Rose played the violin for military troops here in the United States.

Her first dedicated employment, back in the 1950's, was with City Gas in Flemington.  Rose also worked at Flemington Floral and Noel's Hosiery.  While at home, she enjoyed cooking, gardening in her back yard, and caring for her family and pets.  One of Rose's favorite pastimes was traveling around the world with her daughter.

Besides her parents, Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband, Herbert J. Suhr on May 2, 2021; and all of her siblings.

Rose leaves behind to cherish her memory two loving children, Lori Suhr of Three Bridges and John Suhr of Flemington.
