Flemington, NJ- Salvatore I. Culcasi, 80, entered into eternal life on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, NJ. Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Albert and Margaret (nee Catalano) Culcasi.
Sal retired as Vice-President of Labor Relations from AT&T with more than thirty years of dedicated employment. Sal was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps after faithfully serving his country. Sal had a robust Italian personality and loved his Italian traditions. He was the life of the party and thrived on socializing. Salvatore loved life and enjoyed traveling and sports.
Besides his parents, Sal was predeceased by his brother, Ignatius J. Culcasi.
Sal is survived by his loving wife, Roseann (nee Bianco) Culcasi, son, Albert Culcasi, daughters, Louise Culcasi and Rosemary Culcasi and her husband, Michael Pierce and five cherished nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. and on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 9:15-10:15 a.m.
Due to current Covid restrictions, a maximum of 50 people will be allowed in the viewing area at any one time. We ask that you kindly pay your respects to Sal's family and then allow others to do the same. All attendees must wear a mask at all times and stay socially distant.
Funeral services will begin on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a funeral liturgy at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Roman Catholic Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 at 11:00am. The disposition will be held on January 25, 2021 and will be private.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Sal's memory to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org , 300 5th Avenue, Suite 6 Waltham, MA 02451.
