Flemington, NJ– Sharon A. (McHale) Broderick, 47, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at New York Presbyterian Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late John J. McHale and Mary E. (Thompson) McHale, she was raised in Avenel, NJ and settled to Flemington in 2006.

Sharon was extremely active in fund raising and volunteering for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and various organ donor charities. She was a communicant at St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Church in Flemington and spent every precious moment raising her daughter Brianna.

Sharon leaves behind her loving husband Dennis B. Broderick with whom she joined hands in marriage on June 23, 1990; her cherished daughter Brianna; brother John McHale and wife Robin of Bridgewater, sister Aileen McHale of Caldwell and brother Michael McHale and wife Donna of Green Brook. She will be deeply missed by nieces and nephews; Jessica, Jeff, Courtney and Kevin and her two dear closest friends; Maureen Pawelski and Lisa Squatrito.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Sunday, September 29 from 2-6 p.m. and on Monday, September 30 from 9-9:30 a.m.

A funeral liturgy will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 30 at St. Magdalen de Pazzi Roman Catholic Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. Committal words and interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
