Toms River – Stephen Robert Serafin, "Bob", 80, formerly of Irvington, died May 4, 2013 in Toms River. He was the father of Rev. Thomas of Three Bridges, Stephen (Patricia) of Plainsboro, Theresa (Michael) Enz of East Brunswick and Catherine. He was the beloved grandfather of Amanda, Michelle and Cheyanne and the brother of Frank, Connie, John and Eugene.


Bob retired from Express Container in Newark and was a Knight of Columbus and past Exalted Ruler of the West Orange Elks Lodge 1590.


He was predeceased by his wife of forty-three years, Patricia, and son Michael (Elaine) of Pine Beach.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation in the Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 0887 on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 3:30pm – 6:30pm. A 7:00pm Funeral Mass will follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges. At the request of the family, interment will be held private.
