Obituary

Neshanic Station, NJ—T. Wade Byrum, 75, entered eternal life on Friday, January 23, 2015 at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY. Born in Dallas, TX, son of the late Alsay Herman and Janie Hazel (Dickerson) Byrum, he resided in Dallas, TX and Sterling, VA until settling to Neshanic Station in 1978.


Wade was an insurance broker having worked for many years with John Hancock in Dallas, Washington D.C., and New Jersey. He was past president of the Central Jersey Association of Health Underwriters. Wade was a quintessential Texas gentleman who loved to be the life of the party. He was always quick with a joke or a story to make you smile. His sense of humor and graciousness was admired by many.



Besides his parents, Wade was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Cassandra Sweer in 2012.


Wade is survived by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Billye Sue Trammell; and three loving children, Debbye Byrum, Kimberley Byrum and Janye Michelle Byrum. He will be deeply missed by seven cherished grandchildren, Matthew Wade Byrum, Brittani Byrum, Sean Byrum Leo, Joseph Biagini, Ashley Sweer, Thomas Biagini, and Kevin Sweer.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Sunday, February 8 from 12-4 p.m.



Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with family and friends officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Wade's name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
